Hi, I’m Amy
Koru Films is a UK video production company founded and led by me, Amy Hill, based in Telford, Shropshire. I specialise in emotive, ethically-made films for charities, nonprofits and purpose-led organisations across Shropshire, the Midlands and the wider UK — including fundraising films, impact and case study films, awareness campaigns, volunteer recruitment films and videos for National Lottery-funded projects. I work with a trusted network of independent filmmakers and editors to deliver each project.
Koru Films is my passion, bridging two worlds: Filmmaking and Purpose.
I've honed my technical skills with a substantial corporate video portfolio, but my true calling lies in emotive storytelling to inspire action and change for the third sector.
Filming for charities is different from standard corporate video work. It calls for empathy, patience, and a real understanding of the people whose stories are being told — whether that's raising awareness of a cause, encouraging donor and funder support, highlighting a community project, or simply capturing a real, honest story with care. I work closely with your team throughout each project, so the final film is a true reflection of your organisation's mission and voice, not a generic template.
