Wrap Recruitment Video

WRAP – Recruitment Video

1. Project overview

WRAP were hosting a staff event focused on connection, collaboration and their evolving mission. Alongside filming the event itself, we worked together to also capture material for a recruitment video — making thoughtful use of the time and people already gathered on the day.

By planning both outputs together, the aim was to keep things practical and cost-effective, while still creating something meaningful.

2. The need

Like many charities and NGOs, WRAP wanted to encourage more people to apply for roles, while giving a genuine sense of what it’s like to work within the organisation. They were keen to highlight:

  • Flexibility and adaptability in roles

  • Transferable skills staff develop over time

  • The benefits of working in a purpose-driven organisation

  • The importance of people feeling connected to one another and the cause

Rather than a polished or scripted recruitment film, the priority was authenticity.

3. Our approach

Because staff were already coming together for the event, it felt like a natural moment to ask a few additional, recruitment-focused questions on camera. Interviews were kept short and informal, allowing people to speak in their own words about their roles and experiences.

These conversations were supported by b-roll from the day — shared discussions, informal moments and interactions — helping to show the sense of unity and collaboration that underpins the organisation’s work.

By taking this approach, WRAP were able to create both event coverage and a recruitment video without needing extra filming days or additional disruption.

4. The finished film

The resulting video is people-led and welcoming. It shares real perspectives on working at WRAP, while visually reflecting the connections between staff and their shared commitment to the organisation’s mission.

It’s designed to give potential applicants a feel for the culture, rather than just listing roles or responsibilities.

5. How it’s being used

WRAP now use the film as part of their recruitment activity, alongside the event footage. It offers a simple, honest introduction for people considering a role with the organisation, and shows how one well-planned filming day can meet multiple needs.
